Welcome to the 16th European Congress on Menopause and Andropause!

On behalf of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), it is our great pleasure to welcome you to EMAS 2027, taking place from 19–21 May in Gothenburg, Sweden. We look forward to bringing together clinicians, researchers, educators and policy leaders from across Europe and around the world for three days of scientific exchange, collaboration and inspiration.

Guided by the theme “Bridging worlds. Interdisciplinary dialogues across generations”, this congress will promote meaningful dialogue between disciplines, generations and healthcare systems. The future of midlife health and healthy ageing depends on collaboration. Between gynaecology and psychiatry. Between endocrinology and cardiology. Between primary care and digital innovation. Between experienced specialists and emerging leaders shaping the next era of care.

Together, we will explore the latest advances in research and clinical practice, challenge outdated assumptions and develop forward-looking strategies that respond to the diverse realities of individuals at midlife and beyond. EMAS 2027 will also celebrate the power of dialogue. Between women and men. Between healthcare professionals. Between science and society.
